| What do you hate the most? People who do things to get attention ALL THE TIME, prejudiced people, idiots, people who vent their feelings by insulting others, gossipers, stereotypes, close-minded people, really hot & sunny days.
What genres of music are your favorite? I'm not good with genres of music. Erica tells me most of the stuff I listen to is either alternative rock, pop, punk rock, or emo/gothic. Haha.
Do you believe in true love? Of course I do, I just don't always believe it's a good thing.
Do you believe in love at first sight? If yes, why? No, I don't. My answer isn't yes, but I'm going to explain why anyway. From *everything* I've ever understood about love, you fall in love with someone because of them, their thoughts, their beliefs, their feelings. You fall in love with their personality. You cannot judge a person's personality based on looks. By looking at a person, you cannot determine what their favorite kind of cake is or what they named their first pet or if they're a faithful partner. All you can determine from a first glance is what information you might glean from judging their clothes, their hairstyle, etc. You also see their looks - the key part to a relationship of lust. You can fall in lust at first sight, not love, at least not the full-blown put-a-ring-on-my-finger honeymoon kind of love. Whether or not you can look at a person and somehow, subconsciously, know that this person is someone you need to strike up a conversation with because later you will end up falling for them I don't know, because it's never happened to me. But that subconscious knowing that a certain person in a crown is apt to be an important part of your life is, to me, far more likely that falling in love with a random stranger at first sight.
What are some of your favorite clothing accessories? From the stuff I own, the only things I ever wear are silly bands occasionally, a blue star & moon necklace, my watch, certain earrings, and my shoes. I don't have enough stuff to pick favorites except for the necklace; I prefer it over all the others I have.
If reincarnation exists, what sort of person would you want to be next? I have no clue what I want to be next; if I had to choose, anyway, I'm not so sure I would even choose being a human over being some sort of animal. However, I don't believe in reincarnation whatsoever, and while I may be wrong, I still don't put much thought into what would happen if I were to ever be reincarnated. I prefer imagining my life in Heaven.
What are some things you believe strongly in? Gay rights, among other things. I ranted a long time about that with Erica in Algebra the other day.
Where's your favorite place you've been? I haven't been to enough places to pick a favorite. I'd like to go to Rome & Greece this summer on the trip with a few people from the school, but I don't think that's happening, so I'll just have to settle for waiting until I graduate, and even then if I go out of the country it'll be to Spain before anywhere else, or possibly the UK, depending on where Mark is at the time.
Is there a quote you've read that's very significant/meaningful to you? There are a few of them, yes; "Torn between two, who would you choose; the one you love, or the one who loves you?" "I guess I just prefer to see the dark side of things. The glass is always half empty, and cracked, and I just cut my lip on it & chipped a tooth." And others, but I can't remember them and I haven't got them saved.
What sort of books and movies do you like? I like alot of different books, I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to that as long as it's fiction and I can understand it. I'm harder to impress with movies simply because I don't usually have the time or patience to sit down and watch one; the only movies I really like are the new Alice in Wonderland, The Princess Bride, V for Vendetta, and The Patriot. I'm also addicted to House, M.D.
What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy Saturday? Read, watch House, watch the rain, write about stuff, talk to people, think.
Political stance? Don't know enough about anything.
Is there a book you've read that really touched you? There's a number of them; the two that come to mind are The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, and a book about a prostitute that I lost and forget the name and author of. Makes me sad, I'd quite like to read that book again.
Do you have a favorite artist? Not really. There are too many musical artists I like, too many literary artists I like, and no specific painters that I like. Hugh Laurie is my favorite actor, though, if that's considered a form of art.
PC or MAC? Gah, the macs in EAST Lab are so friggin' cool, I want to steal one. PC's are easier to work with for me, though, because I'm more used to them.
What do you love doing? Writing, taking pictures, having fun, feeling attractive, listening to music, watching he rain, singing, thinking, sleeping, smiling, being happy, talking to interesting people who make me smile, feeling loved, reading, watching House, playing basketball, taking surveys, reading quotes, IMing, meeting new people, getting intimate, telling secrets to someone I trust, psychology, finding out new things about myself or others I'm interested in, being told I'm needed, learning about interesting things, harassing Mr. Lupo in Civics & EAST, playing on the computers in EAST, writing notes, making inside jokes, cuddling, hugging, being tickled, having someone play with my hair, buying new things... And I think that's all I'm going to put down
If you could create the perfect world for yourself, what would it be? Somewhere I could change anything easily if I felt the need, and somewhere that was surrounded by people I love or people I would like to meet, not idiots who would make me angry.
Do you think that fate plays a part in people's lives? I think so.
Are you religious, spiritual, atheist...? I'm religious.
What are your opinions on the media? I don't really have much opinion.
Do you think that people throw the words "love" and "hate" around too much? Of course they do, everyone does. I take throwing love around more seriously, in terms of people, at least; such as someone my age getting a boyfriend or girlfriend and saying they love them after two days. I'm guilty of using it for other stuff, though, such as saying a love a specific item of clothing or something such as that. And hate I don't actually take too seriously. There aren't many things I'm passionate enough about to say I hate.
Can you give me a good reason on why homosexuality is bad? No, because I don't think homosexuality is bad. I think the ones who think it's bad are close-minded idiots. I understand that in the Bible it says that it is a sin; I can see how, from that viewpoint, it would be "bad". In terms of Christianity though, you can think it's wrong all you won't, but don't fucking condemn for it, because then you're a hypocrite. All sins are equal, that means homophobes deserve the same hell they give to gays because they do things just as "bad" - lying, for instance. But that's one thing I have to disagree with that's in the Bible. I'm a Christian, but I cannot accept the fact that who you like can send you to hell.
What is your favorite piece of technology that you own? Computer, iPod, or phone.
What's a piece of technology you'd like to own? A better computer. A better phone. A better iPod would be nice, but I'm not complaining with this one.
Are you afraid of technology developing to where we're too reliant on it? I haven't given much thought to it, honestly.
Does it bother you when people do things to fit in with a certain crowd? It kind of does, especially when the person is someone that I know is better than that. My friend Allison, for example, wants to be part of the popular crowd at school, so she hangs out with the "popular" girls even though she's treated like shit and is now starving herself because she wants to be thinner. She's also going out with a douche who treats her horribly. Being popular is not worth all that.
Hot or cold? It's cold right now.
What's a quirk that you have? Eh, I don't know.
Do you think that bzoink should extent the character amount for questions? I don't really care, seeing as I don't have bzoink.
What's your stance on the Death Penalty? I don't know enough about it to form an opinion.
Do you have a favorite combination of complimentary colors? I'm not awake enough to answer that right now.
Do you know why all the young people who have nice cars always look grumpy? I've never noticed that before.
What's your favorite odd ice cream flavor? I don't really like any odd ice cream flavors.
Where do you like to get your ice cream? I don't get it anywhere in particular. I hardly ever eat it, actually.
What's your opinion on stereotypes/labels? Do not like. End of story.
Do you ever use random word generators for bzoinkoids? What?
Do you believe that history repeats itself? I don't know. I suppose.
Would you rather learn from your mistakes or just undo them? Learn from them, most of the time, unless it's something so bad that I really just want to take back. But I suppose if I did take it back it would just happen all over again, most likely.
What was the most interesting class you had in school? EAST has been the most interesting so far, though that's more because of Mr. Lupo than the actual material in the class - though the material is more interesting than any other class too, come to think of it.
Do you write? If so, what? I do. Usually short stories, but I've only ever finished a few. That reminds me, it makes me really sad that I lost my most recent one, because that one was freaking amazing. :[
Do you have a favorite website? Eh, not really.
Do you think that the quality if TV shows is going down? I don't know, I don't watch many TV shows besides House, and I can't complain about it.
Do you have a favorite culture? Not really.
What was a story you heard as a child that really affected you? I don't think there were any.
Who was your favorite grade-school teacher and why? I don't know, but my favorite teacher right now is Mr. Lupo, because he's more like a friend than a teacher, and he usually makes my day ten times better than it normally would be. He's just extremely awesome.
Do you think that the world will end? How? Eh. I don't feel like getting into this question.
Do you prefer piercings or tattoos? Piercings. I find them more appealing, for some reason.. I'd like to get a tattoo if I can find something meaningful, but I'm definitely going to get a few piercings once I turn 18.
Do you remember your dreams? Sometimes I do. Seems like I only remember nightmares, though.
